Wonderful summer pie!
This pie is very cool and refreshing for a summer barbeque. Everyone invited enjoyed it so much, next time I will make two.

similar pie
I have a similar recipe I've used for the past 50 years. It came from the label on a can of Borden's sweetened condensed milk and has a little fewer calories. Graham Cracker pie crust, 2 cans sweetened condensed milk, 4 egg yolks, 3/4 cup lemon juice, beat egg whites and place on pie, bake for 15-20 minutes in a 350 oven. Chill completly. Enjoy! My family prefers this for our holiday dessert over pumpkin pie or pecan pie.

Ice Box not Freezer pie
This is more a suggestion for an alternative than a review. My family has made this pie for aprx 70yrs but use vanilla wafers for the crust and slightly less lemon juice ratio to the sweetened condensed milk, no lemon zest needed. Top it with meringue bake 15min 350* cool then refrigerate several hrs before serving. Delicious. I'm sure you're recipe must also be good as it is so close other than the changed crust and unnecessary freezing.

Great Recipe
I was a little concerned about the short baking time, but it is correct. I used bright golden-yolked eggs from my sister's free-range hens, gathered that day, still warm. It was a huge hit at our family's Easter dinner!

Just pulled it out of the freezer--the spring form pan is a must. Tastes amazing, looks fantastic. This will be my "go to" lemon pie from now on. Really Great!

Easy
Just made this -- followed instructions and its headed to the freezer now. Super easy & hopefully will be tasty good. Cooking time seemed to be spot on.
