rare throughout..nice and fast for 3 people..hard to do a small roast to this standard..one person found the spicing a bit much but just scaped a bit off the side

This would be a wonderful dinner except for 2 things

Beef tenderloin is NOT rump roast. This is like comparing soft butter to shoe leather. There is also a difference in price of about $20.00/lb !

You must have some very slim friends if 1-3/4 lbs will feed 4 people. Maybe you a lot of side dishes and salad with it.
