a keeper
Followed first reviewer's suggestion about letting the lemon slices sit overnight in sugar and I think it helped "mush" the lemon slices...Thanks ! Great tasting pie....definitely a keeper for those like me who love lemon desserts !!

One Small Improvement
I have made variations on this recipe for years, and it is far preferable to me than even my grandmother's lemon chiffon pie. One small improvement: macerate in the lemon slices in the sugar for at least two hours. Older cookbooks even suggest overnight.

Easy and it's the best lemon pie ever
This is the best lemon pie. The use of the whole lemon makes this pie superb.
