Just what I was looking for!
I love that there is just a hint of sweetness! It allows the ginger and nut flavors to be tasted, making it more unique than a sugar coated nut. Because it is so easy, I plan to make many batches for my office and study group for Christmas. Not sure how long they can be stored. Any input would be appreciated.

Quick, tasty but addictive!
These really are a snap to make and they are simply delicious. Yes they could be sweeter but this recipe takes the subtle spice of ginger, a bit of sugar and it complements the pecans perfectly. Definitely not a 'candied' nut if that's what you're looking for. I love them for a somewhat healthy snack. I've also made them with Splenda with fantastic results!

ginger spiced pecans
ginger taste is very subtle, very tasty but no real sweetness to them. i drizzled some kayo syrup over them and put them in the oven for 15 mins or so. this added just the touch more of sweetness they needed
