Just don't do it!
I realize that I am biased because I am born, raised, and still live in southern Louisiana but I just have to say THIS IS NOT REAL JAMBALAYA! People from Louisiana have totally different cooking methods than anywhere else in the country. Just because you are using the proper ingredients does not mean that you will achieve the correct taste. I get so mad that these sites give you recipes but do not tell you how to PROPERLY prepare the meal!

AWFUL - DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS ONE
This dish was terrible - if you add the ceyenne it isn't edible. The rice is still raw and the chicken is tasteless.

VERY QUICK AND JUST AS GOOD!
If you don't like to clean up, this dish is for you! I only used one dutch oven pot, my cutting board, a spoon and two knives. And the outcome was wonderful. I see that this could be easily adjusted for taste. Great Dish!
