Delicious!
I have made this twice in the past few weeks and it is wonderful! I agree with the other reviewer... the sage in the topping makes the dish! First time I made exactly according to the recipe. Second time I left out the potatoes and added celery. I also didn't have chicken broth in the pantry, so instead used a can of condensed cream of chicken soup and three cans of water. Tasted just as good. I think I prefer the celery to the potatoes.

Sounds delicious:
This recipe sounds delicious and I would like to try it but have high blood pressure so the amount of sodium concerns me. I will probably eliminate some or all of the salt in certain areas of the recipe. I DO wish recipes and companies would be more concious of the salt in our diets. While salt is good, it is not good for us. I have not tried so didn't know how to rate to send this, but gave 5 stars according to the 3 reviews that were positive.

I've made this several times over the last few years. I just made it again last Saturday night and have to say this is one of my favorites to make for guests. You have to do it with the sage biscuit topping - that makes the dish. All my guests loved it too and requested the recipe.

This recipe was wonderful. The whole family loved it. Definitely make the sage crust as I think that's what made this stand out.

Good things: You can make this in the pot and bake it in it also. It is delicious and you can substitute a pre-made rolled pie crust for the sage biscuits if you wish. Great directions, turned out perfect and serves enough for 10 people or two meals.
