Delicious!!
My first time making these bon-bons, and came out well! I melted Dove dark chocolate pieces to dip the peanut butter balls in, instead of chocolate chips. The result was exquisitely rich and delicious bon bons!

Never again
I should have read the reviews before making this recipe. It sounded great, but the dough was dry, and certainly NOT "bon bon-like." My husband ate one and said to throw the rest out. Was something missing?

YUCK
I made these for the first time and really disliked them. I would not recommend doing this recipe at all.

Nice
I was disappointed as well and also had a very hard time forming the dough. I had to mold it into balls which took a lot longer than the total time because the dough was so crumbly. Also, they have a light peanut butter taste. My co-workers were split, some liked them as only had a hint of a peanut butter taste and some thought the cookie type part was bland and dry - as did I. Had they not been dipped in chocolate, I would have tossed them but a lot of things taste better dipped in chocolate =)

disappointing
Made these cookies as part of my holiday cookie selection and particularly for my husband who loves peanut butter cookies. Even though I added extra sugar and peanut butter (because I thought the dough had little flavor), we (about 12 people) found them to be dry and without much flavor. So I threw them away which made them a total waste of time and ingredients. Certainly would NOT make them again.

Since my husband likes peanut butter cookies I tried this recipe. He has asked me not to make it again. I followed exactly and they were dry and not sweet at all. We even tried dipping twice but they still needed help. He suggested not cooking then but with the egg I had to cook them. I only dipped 20 of the batch and we ended feeding the birds with the rest.

Yummy!!
I made this recipe for the upcoming Christmas Holiday. Everything went well until it came time to roll the peanut butter mixture into balls. The formula would not hold together and was extremely crumbly. I added some eggnog we had in the fridge to the mixture and it turned out great!!! I finished the recipe by baking and covering each bon bon with chocolate. Overall, after a small addition it turned out great!!

I've made these a couple of time for holidays. They're liked by all and I get requests for them all the time. Often times I've found quite a few missing before we even begin the meal.
