Has anyone tried it without the bourbon?
I am curious if anyone has tried this without the bourbon? I, personally, love bourbon in cakes & deserts, but my husband doesn't. I was thinking about trying this recipe & just leave the bourbon out but I am afraid it may affect the texture in some way. Any ideas?

PERFECT Chocolate Cake
This is my "go to" chocolate cake. It's moist, dense, chocolatey and absolutely delicious. I've tried many scratch and doctored box chocolate cake mixes and nothing compares to this one. It's by far the best chocolate cake recipe.

Beautiful cake"BUT"not complete packge
The cake is good, but would like to have complete package~ the frosting recipe, how or what you decorated it with,because the picture of it is just lovely!Just dont want to slap any old frosting on it,want to sample it the way you made it, if you could send that to me would be greatly appreciated, thank you and have a greatday! Oh also love this website great recipes my family loves them!!!!Only rated it 3 cups because no frosting or decorations to complete the cake
