delicious
I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out delicious. I baked it in a water bath to prevent cracking and let it cool a little longer in the turned off oven. I kicked it up a knotch with jam microwaved to thin it and drizzed it across each piece for presentation. It would make a great dessert for Valentine Day!!! Very pretty and I will make it again.

pretty good
I questioned the amount of eggs used in this reccipe. Years ago I was a baker at Juniors, the Brooklyn restaurant famous for it's cheese cake. We used the same basic recipe except used only 3 eggs and one cup of sour cream. The cake was much more dense then this recipe produced. It was good, but not in the class of Juniors.

Cheesecake turned out well! I did not use the jam in this recipe and added a bit less sugar.. the consistency was very moist and not too heavy... easy to follow directions for any new beginner cook... delicious.

Worked well. I do not like using 'jams or jellies'. I tossed enough strawberries (plus sugar to taste) in a blender to make a 1/2 C strawberry 'sauce'; using that instead of the strawberry jam. And to make the thing even more decadent - I 'frosted' the top with whipped cream before adding the strawberries. Three of my four guests asked for a second piece.
