Peppermint Goodness
If you don't like peppermint you won't like this cookie. The cookie turns out crisp, chocolatey and peppermint is the premier flavor. It is good! I will be dipping some of the cookies in chocolate as an added kick.

Oh Yeah !
I needed a last minute cookie recipe today, so I gave this one a try. I don't have a cookie press but I do have an icing extruder, and chose the largest aperature. I squeezed the cookies out in a spiral which gave them a rose-like shape that easily held the candycane/sugar mixture. Everyone like these cookies, and they don't get any easier than this. Thank.

Great!
Actually made these slightly different only because I only had mint extract not peppermint and did not use crushed candy canes. However, the came out great. Light & not too sweet which I prefer. Going into my Christmas cookie collection and including in my cookie gift packages this year.

Adorable, Easy, Tasty and Lots of Fun
Making cookie-press cookies is a fond childhood memory of mine, so I decided to try it again as an adult. It did not disappoint -- squeezing the shapes from the press is so much fun, and also incredibly easy (much quicker and easier than cookie-cutter cookies). The resulting crisp, minty cookies are very cute and would be great with a tea, cocoa or milk. I fancied mine up by sprinkling them while warm with granulated sugar. These also would be great sandwiched together with melted chocolate.
