This is not puff pastry...
I followed this recipe exactly, and it came out more like pie crust-very flaky. This is just not puff pastry!

Flaky and easy
I wanted to make turnovers and wanted something quicker than the traditional 2-day puff pastry recipe, and this one fit the bill. The pastry came out flaky and delicious. It makes more of a flaky than tender type of pastry. It worked great for my turnovers.

I love this recipe. And everyone who tasted the pear tarts, I made with it, loved them. Puffed and tasted great. Better than store bought (of course). Will be trying it for individual Beef Wellington and turnovers. Thanx, Lori
