Spudnuts
This is almost the same as a recipe I use for Dixie Biscuits from an old family recipe dating before 1900 . Both are very good with the Spudnuts being much sweeter .

Moist & Delicious!
Growing up, the best tasting donuts I purchased were potato based. You don't find them anymore. Since it is only my husband and I now, I had to cut the recipe in half and they amazingly turned out perfect. We enjoyed them as they are not too sweet. Gotta try them.

Idaho Spudnuts
I grew up in El Paso back in the 50's and I sold bags of (6)spudnuts door to door for .35 cents per bag. The Meade Bakery made the spudnuts and I'd fill up the basket on my bicycle. They were and still are the most delicious doughnuts in the world but I had to stop selling because I was eating more then I was selling. A couple bags of spudnuts and a Dr Pepper ~ that was living!
