not good
this was all wrong. the flavor was ok but it did not gel texture wise. the apples stayed runny and were very separate. it did not come out of the pan upside down even though I sprayed it before hand.

Despite the photo...
Really good and very easy to put together. I almost didn't make it because of the photo - it looks aweful - but the flavor was great.

Would make again and again
I made this on a women's retreat and everyone loved it. It was just as good cold as warm, tasted a bit like a bread pudding. We munched on the leftovers all day.

Delicious and easy
Being able to do it all the night before is a huge bonus. Peeling and cutting the apples is the bulk of the work! The rest is nothing and the result is worth it! Fabulous for company or a family meal. I did not turn it over and it certainly doesn't need syrup!

Wonderful!
Holy cow is this ever good! It was great to wake up and only have to put this in the oven for a delicious breakfast. We all loved this so I plan to make this on a fairly regular basis. You don't even need the syrup, and it would be so pretty with some powdered sugar sprinkled on and some fresh berries on the side! Served it with some crispy bacon! Yummmmm!

Delicious and worth the effort
I made this for the first time and it turned out great. I was a little confused by the 3lbs of apples... I ended up using 2-1/2 (my daughter grabbed 2 quarters) and I was about a 1/2 apple short. It was a nice way to wake up on a Saturday morning.
