Best chocolate cookies ever!
I made these cookies at Christmas and added chopped pecans, they were the best I've ever eaten and the first to disappear from my cookie tray. This recipe is a keeper!

Will make these again
I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the other reviews, but these cookies are great. They are light, chocolaty and taste like brownies. I only used 5 egg whites, since that was what I had left over from another recipe and I used all purpose whole wheat flour instead of pastry flour. Next time I will cut back on the salt a tad. Overall, I think they are very good and will make again.

Really bad
These cookies are not very good. Even my easy-to-please husband said after eating one from the first batch, "Please just throw these things out."

chewy chocolate cookies
I cannot review this recipe because i haven't tried it yet. It sounds great but Do I have to use pastry whole wheat flour, can regular whole wheat flour be substituted?

Chewy Choc Cookies
Had hopes for this one. However, would not repeat this recipe or suggest anyone attempt it. Difficult preparation and messy clean up, especially since the results rendered just an average cookie.

YUM!
While making the batter I was concerned about the consistency of the baked cookies because the batter seemed a little too fluffy. My worries were for nothing - these cookies are fantastic; light and chewy. A moderate amount of effort with a great result.
