A Little Different
The components sound great. I plan on making this a little differently. I will make twice the patties, make an impression in the center. Fill the center with the refried beans and colby cheese on one and top with the 2d patty sealing the edges. Broil or grill on both sides, then add to tortillas. Slice avocado and place on top and top with salsa, then fold up. I will also toast the unfilled tortillas or both sides quickly over a burner till brown in spots to take away the doughy taste.

Great quick meal!
This was easy to make, easy to find all of the ingredients and was a nice quick hamburger alternative!

BEAN BURGERS
I LOVE THE IDEA OF ADDING THE BEANS TO THE BEEF--GREAT NEW IDEA, BUT MY FAMILY LIKES BLACK BEANS. tHESE WOULD BE HARD TO PUR ON TOP A BURGER SO ADDING THEM BEFORE COOKING WORKS OUT GREAT. REFRIED BEANS ON THE OTHER HAND CAN BE SPREAD ON SO NO NEED TO ADD TO BURGERS. IF MAKING IT A BURGER WE WOULD PROBABLY JUST EAT ON A BUN ALSO WITHA TOMATOE , ONION AND AVACADO SLICE. yOU COULD ADD SOME CILANTRO AND DICED JALOPENO PEPPERS TO THE BURGERS BEFORE COOKING ALSO.
