Active Time:  25 Minutes
Total Time:  30 Minutes
Yield:  Makes about 15 cookies
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
2 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2/3 cup slivered almonds
DIRECTIONS
At least 2 hours before baking, mix all of the ingredients in a small mixing bowl until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to bake.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

For best results, use a cookie sheet with a nonstick finish. Drop tablespoons of the cookie dough onto the cookie sheet and gently flatten. Bake 4 to 6 minutes until the edges of the cookies are lightly browned, but the centers remain pale in color.

Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and immediately lift the cookies off the sheet and drape them over a rolling pin to form a gentle curved shape. Continue until all of the dough is used. Let cookies cool, then store in an airtight container.
