This is one of our favorite dinners, serve with slaw, stir fried veggies, or steamed broccoli.
1 TBS cilantro stems
1 TBS cilantro leaves
2 large cloves garlic
1' piece of ginger cut into 4 pieces
2 scallions, white and green part
1 jalapeno pepper, unseeded
4 TBS sherry
4 TBS lite soy sauce
2 TBS oyster sauce
1/2 tsp, or more to taste, chili garlic paste
juice of 1 lime
1 flank steak

Put the veggies in the food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Add liquid ingredients and process until veggies are finely chopped and well combined.

Pour over flank steak and marinate 8 hours or overnight.

Remove from marinade and grill to rare to med. rare. Slice across the grain and serve.
