RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and the brown sugar until mixture is light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Add to the butter-sugar mixture, a small amount at a time.
Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla; mix well. Drop teaspoonfuls of batter 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until cookies are done.
