Quick and easy tart that can be made with any berries on hand.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
4 tbsp butter
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp almond extract (can substitute vanilla)
3/4 cup milk
2 cups fresh berries (any combination)
1 tbsp sugar

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place 4 tbsp butter in 9x9 pan or 9' pie pan. Place in oven until butter has melted.


In bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Whisk in milk and almond extract until batter is smooth.


Combine mix with melted butter in pan; mix well. Dot batter with berries. Top with light dusting of sugar. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes until top is lighty browned and crisp. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.

Delicious, nutritious and simple
This pie is so easy, it's more difficult to spell E-A-S-Y than to make it. A person with absolute no affinity to the kitchen can do it well.
