Southern Banana Pudding Pie (With Nilla Pie Crust)

This idea actually came to me in a dream, and it tastes just as good as it did in my mind!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
Fresh Bananas (2)
Banana Instant Pudding (1pkt)
2 1/2 C Cold Milk
Nilla Wafers (1 Box)
1/4 C Butter (For Pie Crust)
Butterscotch or Chocolate Chips
DIRECTIONS
PIE CRUST:


Crush 40 Nilla Wafers (for 9 inch pie pan) to crumbs


Melt butter and mix into wafers


Press mixture into pie pan


Bake at 375 degrees for 6-8 mins


PIE:


Slice and quarter 1 banana into chunks, set aside


Following directions on instant pudding box, whisk together milk and pudding mix.


Add banana chunks, then continue to whisk


After 2 minutes, pour entire mixture into pie crust


Refrigerate for 2 hours


TOPPINGS:


Slice 1 banana into discs


place banana discs onto Nilla wafers


Arrange Wafers and bananas on top of pie


Melt butterscotch or chocolate chips in bowl


Drizzle over pie
