Yield:  6 servings
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 pounds ground beef
1/3 cup minced yellow onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 minced Serrano pepper
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup low sodium beef broth
1 lime
1 head chopped green leaf lettuce
9 1/2 ounces white corn tortilla chips
2 diced Roma tomatoes
5 sliced green onions
1 sliced avocado
1 cup pinto beans
1 cup finely grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Daisy Brand Sour Cream

DIRECTIONS
Brown beef over medium high heat for about 4 minutes and drain. Add the minced onion, garlic, and Serrano chili to the hot pan and sauté for 2 minutes over medium heat. Return beef to the pan and add seasonings, beef broth and the juice from 1/2 the lime. Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to low. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Create a bed of chips on each plate and layer on vegetables, beans, beef, and cheddar cheese. Top with a dollop of Daisy Brand sour cream.


*Optional - May serve in a chip bowl instead of using a bed of chips.

I love this food it is so good i had it for dinner.I loved it the only part that taste weird is the sour cream on it that was nasty.I thought the rest of it was good my parents loved it to they just thought the onions were nasty.Oh I thought the garlic and onions were nasty to that was just plane nasty on the food I hated that part and so did my brother and sister thought those parts were nasty also. but the rest were the best to be put on the food I loved those parts very very much I love them.
