Active Time:  10 Minutes

Yield:  4 servings
Roasting garlic softens its sharp flavor while still maintaining it. The easy process yields a delicious spread or garnish.
RECIPE INGREDIENTS
1 head of garlic, unpeeled
1 tbsp. Olive oil
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400°F. Expose the cloves by cutting off the top of the garlic head, about 1/2 inch..

Place the garlic bulb in a small baking dish. Sprinkle with olive oil and cover the baking dish with foil.

Roast for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the cloves are very tender. Squeeze the cloves out of the skins and serve.

GARLIC IS GOOD!
I'm from Gilroy The Garlic Capital of the World and there's no easier receipe than this. Quick and easy. Pop a clove and spread it on bread with a little brie. The "stinky rose" never tasted better.
