this bowl is useful for more than just soup...and has been a really pretty color addition to my mostly white dinner plates...enjoy using both the salad plates and these soup bowls...

My daughter needed matching dinnerware, so I thought I would buy her some for Christmas. I purchased the Whitaker Vanilla Dinnerware set, and I was so pleased with the quality and appearance that I decided to also purchase a set of the soup bowls. I will be buying an additional set of the bowls in the future.

Great set of dishes. We use them for everyday dishes even though they are considered china. One of my dinner plates was broken when shipped and I emailed the company and got a response within 30 minutes that they were shipping me a new one. They sent me another whole set of 4 plates. We got the entire place setting but ordered these bowls separately because we like having a more shallow bowl for soups.

These are pretty but not as shallow as I expected. They are deep in the center. I still love them, but something you can't see from a photo on the internet. They work well as a small serving bowl for vegetables too.
