I love it! You cannot help but not love it.. How nostalgic! I used to shop on Arthur Avenue years ago before moving out of state... But, the stories of how they started their businesses, etc., are a wonderful part of the history.... I hope they continue to keep the "neighborhood" just the way it is! By the way, the recipes are wonderful, too!

The recipes are authentic. I grew up shopping on Arthur Avenue. It is not only a great cookbook but a nostalgic trip to a priceless history and section of the Bronx.
