I am not a huge fan of "plastic" bowls. BUT ... these are very attractive and in a nice range of sizes. My main gripe is that they scratch and/or stain easily so using a mixer or even a metal tool to blend ingredients can result in scratches. I haven't used these myself, but I'm tempted to get a set. They're lightweight, they have hand grips and pouring spouts, and they have non skid bottoms. Really NICE bowls if one can remember to treat them carefully.

I bought these bowls to replace another set (not Oxo) that I loved, but the melamine cracked in 2 of the 3 bowls I had which made them useless. These bowls are much sturdier and have better gripping power. Nest nice and are good sizes. I wish they were a bit deeper though..the large one is very wide . All in all so far so good.

I love the rubberized bottoms that allow you to vigorously stir without them sliding all over my counter top. Great price for 3.

I bought these to replace a set of heavy, ceramic mixing bowls and couldn't be happier! They come in perfect sizes and are super lightweight. The non-slip handles and spouts make it so easy to lift and pour. I also love the non-slip bases for stirring.

I wanted to finally replace the remaining 2 Corning mixing bowls that I got for my wedding shower 35 years ago. These bowls are amazing: colorful, grip the counter for hands- free use and are nice and deep. Don't wait so long to replace your switch these!
