Serve up the perfect breakfast or brunch with this Norpro Bacon Press and Egg/Pancake Ring Set. The sturdy cast-iron bacon press helps you get the best flavor and texture out of each slice of bacon. A stay-cool wood handle makes the press easy to hold while cooking up sizzling slices. This set comes with seasoning instructions for the cast iron so you can get your bacon press ready for use quickly. Serve your bacon next to perfectly plated pancakes and fried eggs using the egg/pancake ring. These rings let you create circular breakfast treats that look like they came from the pages of a cooking magazine. Each of the pieces in this set is ideal for use on your griddle, and they can also be used with your smaller skillets as well. Use the rings to plate other foods with professional quality to make your favorite dishes look stunning. We love how versatile this set is, and we adore the country charm that each piece provides your kitchen. Best Used For: Use the bacon press to create perfectly cooked slices of bacon, or use it to produce gourmet grilled cheeses and panini right on your griddle. The egg/pancake rings are ideal for making visually stunning pancakes and eggs, but can also be used for plating portions of rice, risotto or other side dishes for a clean presentation.

  • Handy, useful, simple---I like it

A set of items with pure simplicity and total functionality. They are what they are, their value should be obvious, but---I suggest a little oil or butter on the egg rings prior to use cooking eggs. Also, when the handle of the bacon press gets slippery with hot grease, instead of seeing that as a fault of the device I suggest wrapping a folded paper towel around the wooden handle. Problem solved. And please, people, don't complain about how the press shows rust problems when removed from the dish washer. Wipe away excess grease with paper towels, then most of your clean up should be easy with just a stiff bristle (non-metallic) brush and hot running water. Better yet, buy a copy of Cast Iron Cooking for Dummies which contains everything one could want to know about the subject and much more including some great recipes!

  • Too Cute and Functional Too

Couldn't just throw this cutie into the tool drawer. It is displayed on my baker's rack as part of my 'kitchen art'. The wooden handle accomodates any size hand. Great for bacon as well as grilled cheese sandwiches. The Egg/Pancake rings are a practical tool to have on hand, also. They make great kid friendly pancakes.

  • Bacon Pressed by Press Impressive

My recently purchased bacon press works very well. The bacon cooks evenly and nicely crisp. If I had one wish, it would be round and fit right into my 10 inch skillet. I have not tried the Egg/Pancake Rings yet - I really was interested in the press. Pricing was reasonable. I received the product in a timely manner. I am a satified customer and hopefully will be a repeat one.

  • Bacon Press - Think Panini!

This press was an absolute steal for the price. Most presses run between 29 and 69$. Great value .... and it's actually cute. I'm using it sideways to secure a stack of napkins.
    Thanks

  • My Wife Thinks I'm a Genius

A year and a half ago my wife and I had just married. She was slightly disappointed that no one had gotten us something that we had put on our wedding shower list. She had asked for a set of pancake rings. At the time they were easy to find, but since then they had become increasingly scarce. We seemed to have looked everywhere in the following months with no luck finding them. Sometime in mid November I had a brainstorm. I decided to try and get them as a christmas gift. We had not looked for them in a while so I figured she might have forgotten them. I got on the internet and found a few, but then I found your website. I was impressed with the vast selection of products you offer. I was equally impressed with the apparent value of the item I chose. My wife had no idea what she was getting and yes, she was absolutely floored when she saw the elusive rings she had finally obtained. I got a big hug. I smiled and simply said,

  • Seems well made, but you can only cook one slice at a time, by cutting it in half and placing it side by side.

  • Bacon Press works good. Helps keep the bacon flat. The pancake rings were a pain when trying to make pancakes but might work for eggs. Haven't tried that. I looked all over for the bacon press so I was very happy to find it on this site.

I bought this for my husband. He is the breakfast maker and loves using it particularly when frying bacon and sausage on the griddle. It keeps the bacon flat and makes for a crispier bacon. It is easy to clean - we have two.

I had looked all over for a bacon press. The only one I found had to be assembled and had a metal handle. Your bacon press was everything that I was looking for. Your service was excellent.

  • Great product for keeping your little piggies straight. But I would suggest that in the future the manufacturer take out the designs on the bottom because the crevices have a tendancy to get real dirty and rusty. A plain flat bacon press would work perfect.

  • I never knew how much better bacon can be if cooked with a bacon press. It keeps it flat, which makes MORE of the bacon available for sandwiches or whatever. It also helps cook the bacon evenly and keeps spatters to a minimum. Also great for skillet sandwiches like grilled cheese or mock-panini's. The ring set is awesome! Now I have consistently formed pancakes and eggs. When I serve breakfast it looks better than what we get at a restaurant! Great products! Nice deal that they are packaged together!
