Not what I expected...
Well.. I guess I should have paid more attention, because I thought this book had been produced by Julia Child herself...not Dorie Greenspan. And I didn't realize that for almost all the recipes in this book you really need a stand mixer, which I don't have. I made some bread dough which I made into cinnamon rolls and sticky buns which came out wonderfully, even though I mixed the dough by hand and my arms were noodles when I was done! Also, the brioche recipe doesn't have a baking time/length for making brioche bread, only the recipe for the dough to be used in other recipes.

WELL NOT ONLY ARE THE PICTURES BEAUTIFUL BUT THE RECIPES ARE WONDERFUL. I WISH I HAD MORE PEOPLE TO COOK FOR. BOTH OF MY DAUGHTERS ARE SPOILED. BOTH OF THEIR HUSBANDS COOK. BUT I HAVE BEEN COOKING AND BAKING SINCE I WAS ABOUT 12 AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.
