It truly lives up to the name, but the basics recipes are enhanced to give the most flavor and richness to each dish. It's bound to become well used and full of splotches and drips!

The collection of recipes in the book is wonderful and she always makes me look like a professional chef when I cook her food. I plan on purchasing additional books by Ina. I have not tried to cook from it yet though I've had the book for 2 weeks now. I'll try to whip up something from it this weekend. I did read most of it (yes, I read every recipe). I'm an Ina fan so just to sit and watch her cook is enough for me!
