Ina Garten, bestselling cookbook author and beloved star of Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, is back with her easiest recipes ever.

In Barefoot Contessa How Easy is That? Ina proves once again that it doesn’t take complicated techniques, special equipment, or stops at more than one grocery store to make wonderful dishes for your family and friends. Her newest must-have cookbook is all about saving time and avoiding stress while having fun in the kitchen.

These are not recipes with three ingredients thrown together in five minutes; instead home cooks will find fantastic Barefoot Contessa recipes that are easy to make but still have all that deep, delicious flavor Ina is known for—and that makes a meal so satisfying. Think Pink Grapefruit Margaritas served with Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs—two classics with a twist. For lunch, Ina makes everyone’s favorite Ultimate Grilled Cheese sandwich and Snap Peas with Pancetta. For dinner, try Jeffrey’s Roast Chicken (tried and true!); Steakhouse Steaks, which come out perfectly every time and—with Ina’s easy tip—couldn’t be simpler; or an Easy Parmesan “Risotto” that you throw in the oven instead of stirring endlessly on the stovetop. Finally, Ina’s desserts never disappoint—from Red Velvet Cupcakes to Chocolate Pudding Cream Tart.

To top it all off, Ina also shares her best tips for making cooking really easy. She leaves bowls of lemons and limes on the counter not only because they look great but because they also remind her that a squeeze of lemon in a dish brightens the flavors. She shows us the equipment that makes a difference to her—like sharp knives, the right zester, an extra bowl for her electric mixer—and that can help you in your kitchen, too.

Filled with 225 gorgeous full-color photographs, Barefoot Contessa How Easy is That? is the perfect kitchen companion for busy home cooks who still want fabulous flavor.

Another Hit For Ina!

by Virginia, NC
November 21, 2010

Here is another engaging cook book from my Food Network favorite, Ina Garten. She amazes me with her continuing talent for keeping us engaged with both entertaining and substantive recipes in her cookbooks. This latest offering does not disappoint.

I enjoyed this book very much. The recipes are wonderful. I love the selections of things for the kitchen. I have many of these items, but always have room for a few more. Some of the "Ina" items have been wonderful additions to my kitchen. Thank you for making this book available.

Disappointed

by Lisa, AZ
November 24, 2010

Love Ina Garten, her books, and always look forward to her shows on Food, but when I bought the book I thought the book would be signed, not just a piece of paper inserted into the book that had been signed. I even didn't go to see her at her book signing in Phoenix, Az because my book was on the way and I thought the actual book would be signed. Lost out on that opportunity. I could lose that paper and then what is the use of having your book signed when the actual book is not signed? Thought that the email was deceptive; I believed it to say the book would be signed. Won't stop me from watching her. I do absolutely enjoy watching her. Am glad she is still on Foodnetwork and hope she doesn't leave. seems like everyone is going to the cooking channel which I wish wasn't happening. thanks

Signed Cookbook

by Betty, LA
December 3, 2010

I was disappointed that Ina didn't sign the cookbook - it was her signature on a sticky piece of paper. It would have been greater if she had actually signed the book.

not down to earth recipes

by Tami, WI
December 5, 2010

I so enjoy Barefoot Contessa's Food Network show and this book was a total let down. The recipes were not down to earth people recipes...the book is now sitting in my cupboard, not to be used (probably ever). The book itself was beautiful but......disappointing.

Ina never disappoints me. Her cookbooks are beautiful. I love trying her recipes. Many are so different from what I grew up eating. Even if I never made one recipe I would buy her cookbooks. They are a feast for my eyes. They are easy to follow and honestly come out just as promised. I trust Ina when she talks about her recipes and her philosophy on entertaining.

Signed Cookbook

by Nancy, IN
December 7, 2010

I only purchased this cookbook through Food Network because it was offered as a "signed" book. When I received the book, it wasn't signed and when I called Customer Service they said it was "signed" by having a signed insert added to the book! Was very disappointed that the book it self wasn't signed. Now I have a book and a signed square of paper!

Unsigned book

by Janice, MI
December 9, 2010

Disappointed that the book was not signed by Ina. Card was signed, but it would have meant more if the book, itself was signed by author.
