Yes | No Report Violation »Comparing it to the older cookbook, which is still my "Bible" when it comes to cooking and I'm on my 2nd copy, this is so large that it doesn't fit in my bookcase. Although the information inside is marvelous, the print is more gray than black, making it much more difficult for older people to read and the font is too small for me. I have to use my lighted magnifying glass to read it well.

I've purchased other books, and while they were good, I feel like your book was the one that taught me some of the finer details about cooking at home. I expected a book when I ordered the cookbook and for the price was disappointed. I do miss the table of contents--never really was an index or tab person. I'm concerned that the page holes will rip. Not sure how this book will hold up over time. Recipes were okay--nothing extraordinary or that I couldn't find in my other books or online.

It's so easy to use. However, I can't believe Pineapple upside-down cake is not in it. My first Betty Crocker Cookbook 40 years ago had it listed in Desserts. This one is a keeper!

Yes | No Report Violation »My first cookbook,back in 1961,was a Betty Crocker" It is looking pretty rough,I had hoped to replace it with this new one,but this new cookbook does not have a custard pie recipe.Also the chocolate chip cookie recipe is different.This new cookbook has lots of nice features,but I still love my old cookbook the best.

I sure used the heck out of the book. Then I bought another book back in the 80's or so and bought one for each of my 2 daughters. I will be using my new book a lot. It is real informative with different information that they didn't have back in the 50's.
