This is the baby bear size for cookie scoops. Not too big, not too small. The handle will decompose in several years if it takes many trips through the dishwasher. I love it though, and just get another.

I have tried several scoops that haven't lasted through a few batches of cookies. This so far has been the best scoop for the money. It makes the perfect size cookies every time.

Cookies made easy!

I had a rather sticky batter that I choose to use my scoop with for the first time and it worked like a charm! What a time saver not having to use a spoon and then my finger to get the filling off the spoon! With the scoop it scraps it all out the first time! Very good!

The OXO Medium Cookie Scoop is a great product and a very good buy.
It's well-made, with a smooth-operating mechanism made with metal
parts instead of plastic. Obviously designed for long-lasting use, with
any luck we'll never need to buy another.
The medium-sized scoop is just right for our needs. And it makes
baking cookies so much easier and faster than trying to use a spoon.
Plus, we get better cookies as a result: Being uniform in size, not
only do they look better, they bake much more evenly than before.
Even an occassional cookie baker would benefit from having this handy
little tool in their kitchen.
Overall, we're very pleased with this purchase and highly
recommend this cookie scoop to anyone who who bakes cookies.

Scoop release is smooth and makes perfectly sized cookies with amazing ease and speed! I love this handy kitchen tool, so much better than any of the plastic scoops I've used and the dough doesn't hang up on it and stick!

I ordered 2 of these cookie scoops thinking I would give one away. Now I am keeping them both because I love it. It actually works and cut down the time it took to get my 15 kinds of cookies made I did for Christmas. I mailed out many cookies to my children, grand and greatgrand children. I wish there was a small size one. I would order that one too. In fact maybe 2 again.

Medium cookie scoop by OXO

Love this cookie scoop! First, its well made. The part that works the scoop moves smoothly & seems sturdy, especially compared to other cookie scoops. I wasnt sure of what size to get, but the medium seems to be a good size for regular baking and regular sized cookies. Am thinking of getting another for when there are 2 people making cookies. I havent ever gotten a bad products with OXO brand!
