Kitchen Toys
Everyone who enjoys cooking should have lots of kitchen toys. My mom gets a kick out of this, and I love it.

I lost my receipt and do not know if I can return without it. The blade is too narrow and slicing is paper thin. Could not afford a better mandoline, but thought this would be good. It was not worth what I paid for it,sorry.

It performs as it says it will, with paper-thin slices. I would have liked to have had a clamp or something to hold the hand guard with the slicer, but I am using a rubber band, and hanging it on my wall of gadgets.

This slicer was recommended to me and I like it because it is very sharp! The holder is not very strong though and it's "teeth" don't hold well so I can't use it as all.

Could not locate a ceramic blade mandoline anywhere in any store in town. Went on line and after reviewing the options given on different types and prices selected this one. Am so glad I did. Thank you

The unique thing about this product for me is the ceramic blade. I so very pleased with how sharp it is and the fact that being ceramic it will not corrode.

solidly built, sharp blade and cool colors

An absolutely perfect product . Slices so thin and uniform. Does not stick to the food. Out performs all mandeloines. Can not get any better than this

This is a wonderful slicer; easy to use and to store. No multiple parts to deal with - just a simple slicer and a hand guard. The ceramic blade is sharp, but unlike a metal blade, will not cut the skin upon contact. The blade is two-sided allowing back-and-forth slicing.
My only complaint is that there is no way to control the thickness of slices. I bought this slicer for my daughter-in-law because I so loved the one I bought for myself about a year ago. This is obviously a different model because mine has a dial on the back that controls the thickness of the slices.
Still, you can't go wrong with Kyocera; I'm a big fan of their ceramic blade kitchen devices.

Have used the unit twice and as my right hand was injured some years ago, am still learning how to use my other hand as effectively as the dominant one used to be. The blade is extremely sharp and lives up to the documentary I saw this year of the use of ceramics for other uses. Practice makes perfect so hopefully it won''t take long to master.

This slicer is fabulous for making thin slices. Works especially well for onions. This is a second one for my condo kitchen.

This slicer is exactly what it purports to be: an excellent slicer for thin slicing. It is very sharp, making short work of raw vegetables. The hand guard functions easily and holds food well. All it would need to achieve perfection is a little more width so I could make bigger potato chips. I am very pleased with this item and am considering it as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law.

This was my first use with a Mandoline. It worked beautifully. Easily cut through vegetables like butter. Slices were uniform and very thin. Exactly what I wanted. Love this!!
