    This is my first food processor, but having watched friends and family members use their older models, I'm glad to have waited until Cuisinart made so many design refinements. I especially like the nesting bowls, and the adjustable slicing blade.

    12 Cup Elite Food Processor

    Compaed to the Prep 11 Plus which I had previously. These are the things that I like about the Elite. The lid snaps on insteads of turns...it has the smaller bowl with it...when you tilt it to get the contents out - the blade doesn't fall out...the disc don't need you to add an additonal attacchment to them...the small opening of the wide mouth is oblong instead of round and it comes in black.

    Very nice, but

    We just started using the food processor and like it. The only thing we have noticed is for shredding small items sometimes the items go through the finger holes and are not shredded properly. Otherwise we are pleased

    Unhappy with pricing

    I purchased the 12C black Cuisinart food processor for $ 250.00 plus change, a week later after I have recieved my machine. I was shopping in Costco in Las Vegas and I find the exact same processor for $ 100.00 less !!!!!!!!!!!!!! so shop around.
