I like the fact that all the pieces are dishwasher safe. I like the fact that the motor is relatively quiet. I'm sure this food processor will get a lot of use in our kitchen.

This is my third Cuisinart food processor and I wouldn't be without one. The ability to change slicing and grating thickness was what prompted mr to upgrade to this model. The additional capacity for dough and the additional bowls were also key.

This is a fantastic processor. It is sturdy so that no matter what you put in, the machine stays put. The one draw-back is - it's HEAVY!!! But once on my counter, it is there and does not move. The positive for being so heavy - you mix, shred,slice, dice, etc. almost anything and it does not move. Blades are sharp so be careful when changing the thickness for slicing. When slicing potatoes, dust the potatoes every once in a while so the slices do not stick together. Be careful not to make them doughy or "breaded". Love the large bowl. Actually, I love the three nesting bowls - how cute and a great space-saving idea. The small bowl I do not use much but was great for nuts and bread crumbs. You can save $$$ with this machine - use the old bread to make bread crumbs and season them yourself. This was a gift from my hubby - but I got to pick what I wanted. I had my eye on this machine for awhile. Waited for Labor Day Sales so price was more do-able. Over-priced without a sale price. But then I never buy anything that is not on sale.

After purchasing this same Food Processor 1-1/2 years ago, I bought this one as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law who REALLY use one. The 14 cup capacity was bigger then their previous processor and they really appreciate it, as soup is a common use. This purchase and our previous one have worked quietly and smoothly, easy to get the lid on and off compared to our older model, and the smaller capacity bowls come in handy in more complicated preparations.
The retracting cord is very handy, both for use (keeps excess cord off the counter) and for storage. It is a little heavy to move around, but that provides lots of stability during use.
