Why crowd your countertop with a toaster and a toaster oven? Have it all in one appliance with the Hamilton Beach Toastation Toaster. It includes an extra-wide slot on top that fits two slices of bread or two halves of a bagel. The oven is equally spacious with enough capacity for two large pizza slices or two 5-inch personal pizzas. The switch from toaster to oven is easy. With the slide of a lever, the toaster slot is sealed, trapping heat for great baking performance. The controls are familiar, with a temperature control and a shade selector on the front and a push-down lever on the side for the toaster. With the compact design and stylish metal accents, the Toastation Toaster fits nicely on any countertop. The Toastation Toaster comes with a ready signal and a baking tray.

This appliance rocks!

A technological fusion in small kitchen appliances - it toasts, browns, cooks, stays clean and is way more fuel efficient than a 747. Bagels, breads, buns or english muffins get toasted just so plus you can cook, warm and brown items too. The best improvement possible on a pair of old tech machines in a contemporary and inexpensive package.
I do suggest that when cooking frozen appetizers and the like you should whittle down the instructed heating directions by 50-75 degrees rather than change cook time.

Disappointing

by Carlie, AZ

I've had the Toastation for a year and find it rather disappointing. The toaster portion is just OK for producing good toast, can't be popped up early without unplugging the toaster, and often launches the toast right out of the toaster when it pops up. The toaster oven portion has only a heat control unlike other toaster ovens that allow you to use it like a broiler.
If I'd known then what I know now, I would not have bought it.

This item is the greatest multi-use spacesaver I have ever seen and we love it. Neat, clean lines and works wonderfully.

Neither a toaster nor a toaster oven be...

...this thing. The toaster literally bends bread, so you get curved bread out. When it was perfectly straight going in. Go figure.

I suppose it is a reasonable compromise if you only use your toaster oven for really small stuff. But the clearance is very low, so that hurts too.

Sadly this thing is now in the closet. Ack.

I was looking for a toaster oven, but was pleased to find this item on your website. I felt I was getting two small appliances for the price of one. Our family has used both features (toaster and oven) on several occasions. It is a great buy!
