The French press coffee system is what BODUM is most known for. We’ve produced millions of presses – we’ve added more designs, more sizes, more features like double wall glass and a lid that closes completely between pours. As far as we were concerned, we knew everything there was to know about the French press. So imagine our surprise when a customer tells us they’ve discovered the best way to make ice coffee with a French press. We’ve tried it their way and we have to agree – it’s fabulous. And simple – which fits our philosophy perfectly. So here’s how it goes: first you put the ground coffee in the jug as usual, then you add cold water and put the jug in the fridge overnight. In the morning you press down the plunger – et voilà – you have the most smooth tasting ice coffee you can imagine. Enjoy it black or with milk and let yourself be surprised. The BEAN comes with two lids: one for the fridge overnight, and one with a plunger to press down the coffee grounds in the morning. The 1.5-L. BEAN Iced Coffee Maker is made from borosilicate glass, plastic, silicone and stainless steel and comes in eight beautiful colors. It’s dishwasher safe.

I love Iced Coffee and this little Bodum Coffee Press makes it so easy. You don't have to make hot coffee and cool it down. For some of us who don't ever drink HOT coffee, we don't keep our coffee maker on the counter top. This little coffee press eliminates the need to drag the coffee maker out each time to make 12 or 24 cups of coffee so we can chill it. The coffee tastes great also. Good coffee flavor...not bitter, but good smooth coffee flavor. I even put my Splenda in the coffee grounds while they are steeping in the fridge. I even purchased one of these coffee presses for my son-in-law and he loves it also. It is so hot here, I like the coolness of the iced coffee to cool me down and this coffee is always ready to pour into my travel mug and go to work with me.

I really enjoy the Black Ice Coffee Press. I only wish it had some suggestions on how much ground coffee to use depending on how strong you want it - I had to use trial & error to figure it out.

Who knew you could make cold brewed iced coffee. Till this product came along I never dreamed it possible. This makes the richest coffee and is so simple to use. I just wish this product was invented years ago. I use it every day and it has paid for itself in the money I am saving not going to Dunkin Donuts.

I bought this product to make cold coffee, Place your favorite coffee in this pitcher, fill with the appropriate amount of water and place this in the fridge overnight. The next morning you have deliciously flavored coffee without any of the astringent or bitter flavors. Add a little sweetened condensed milk, over ice and you're rock'n!
On the up side, the pitcher is attractive, well made, easy to use and holds lots of water.
The only thing missing would be some kind of calibration on it to let you know how many cups of water you've added into it. A Sharpie easily handles that.
Nice product.

Love this product. Super easy and nice to have ready in the refrigerator at all times. Needs an extra scoop or two of coffee to get a stronger flavor...but so smooth and yummy!
