The is a very well weighted meat tenderizer and pounder. I looked into many of these devices and found this one to be excellent. Easy to change from the pounder to tenderizer. Maintains the shine beautifully.

the product helps to speed up the tenderizing process, it's great for butterflying chicken cutlets which i saw on Rachael's show.

I purchased this meat pounder for my mother because of the large handle and ease of use. She had severe arthritis and has had difficulty using smaller versons as well as those designed horozontially instead of vertically.

I have been looking for this style of pounder/tenderizer for a while. Almost impossible to find in stores, especially with this quality. Also the removable handle makes it easy to store. A great gift item also.
