I am a big fan of toaster ovens and this is the best I have ever owned. It toasts better and faster than my conventional toaster and does not take much more space. The convection oven works well. It looks like it will be easy to clean, although it has not been here long enough to need cleaning. The convection cooking option works better than I expected, especially for some of the light lunches I like to make. I would recommend this to anyone. For the price and the size, I am still often surprised at how well it works and how good it looks compared to some of the clunkers on the market.

Heats quickly and cooks evenly. I generally use a toaster oven only for small things; I use a regular oven for baking. The digital timer is pre-set at 30 minutes, so the designers expect you'll be using it for more than just a toaster oven. So I tried it with bread and other items I would usually cook in the regular oven, and it does a good job, even a bit faster. I wish it had a light inside, but overall very pleased.

I have gone through many toaster ovens, but this is a keeper. From the way it looks to the way it works, this is the best.

Heats up too much

This product seems to heat the food unevenly, and the exterior of the oven gets way too hot while in use. Not recommended

This is a wonderful product--looks good and functions very well. Using the convection bake, this oven will bake potatoes in half the time as a regular oven. We don't use it for toast; it takes the place of our larger oven when just cooking for two of us.

I have not used my regular oven since I received it. I've made toast, baked chicken and fish, made brownies - all with great results. I love it.

Fast, simple, even baking

With only two in my household and living in Phoenix Arizona I was looking for an oven that would fight the AirConditioner, but I needed an oven with control for baking to broiling fish. This product has clean lines, is simple to use, bakes evenly, comes to temperature very fast, and the convection feature really works well.

The only negative is the cheap tool they threw in to pull the racks out. You have no control with tool and I found it dangerous and threw it out. Just use oven mits and avoid the heating elements.

This is an excellent oven and if I had to make the choice again I would choose it again.

Haven't turned my oven on since this came...

I love my Krups Convection Toaster Oven! It is a little bigger than I expected, but that just means that I can fit bigger things into it! I'm perfecting my Popovers, have done great roasted potatoes and so much more. Really, it has been a great summer purchase because it does't heat up the house. The toaster may seem to take a little longer, but now I know what setting to put it on and it is the same each time. Love it!

BIG but great

First - this thing is enormous. It swallows up a lot of counter space, but thankfully, it looks great. It performs very well - the dual racks in the oven are a nice touch, but I use one rack and set it in the middle - if you set it lower, the bottom of your toast will burn, and if you set it too high, the top will burn. You also have to fiddle with the toast settings (1-10) to figure out which works best for you - 7 didn't seem quite dark enough for me, and 8 seems perfect. The convection feature is a nice touch. The standard oven setting works really well. My only complaint is that the rack does not attach to the door such that the rack slides out when the door opens. Other than that, Big Bertha here does a great job. It seemed sort of expensive, but when you factor in the convection feature, it's really not.

Great toast and more!

You need one of these toasters for your kitchen. Don't mess around with a cheap one from Wal-Mart. This Krups toaster performs very well and is FAST. There are a nice pair of tongs included which even have a notch in them to pull out the rack and then grab your toast, etc. Baking, broiling, and convection baking all work great too.

Excellent product

This toaster oven is an excellent product. Ours gets used almost everyday and I am not quite sure what we used before it as this is our first one. We love how fast it cooks, even without using the convection option and the ease of cleanup. It does get warm as other buyers noted, but there is a warning on it that notes this. I have two young boys and have not had a problem with anyone getting burned. The oven is extremely easy to use and one read thru on the book should have you using it like a pro. I have baked cookies in it and cinnamon rolls, the toaster toasts great everytime and I love how my 8X8 casserole fits inside.

Good performance, just don't expect it to be a good dual rack convection oven, even though 2 racks are supplied you can still only successfully bake with 1 rack. Controls are very easy to use.

convection toaster oven does an excellent job

This oven is well designed and does all its functions very well. It toasts up to 6 things quickly. It bakes and broils small amounts of things for a two person family like ours. The design is modern and attractive. It seems easy to clean.

We are enjoying this toaster.

So far we are very happy with this toaster. We have not used all the features but our toast is wonderful and consistent. Our old one burned or did not cook bread evenly. It does not take up much room and the heat stays in the toaster. It is easy to clean.

Krups Toaster

The convection fan will not come on during convection baking and the upper
element comes on whenever it wants. Three times I have walked into the
kitchen and found the upper element on and the start button not illuminated.
The only way to stop this is to unplug it. The unit is still under warranty so I will
be returning it. Better luck next time.

Reliable toaster

I have used one of these for years. I feel that it toasts well, and it's very convenient for use as an oven and convection oven. It looks great and holds up well. The beep when it finishes is very loud, but that can be a positive.

Excellent product and would recommend it to a friend and would buy another one if needed.

I am quite satisfied with new toaster oven. It is well constructed and very easy to use. I really apppreciate the digital operation. Though I primarily use it for toasting, I have used the broiler with good results and I am looking forward to using the convection oven function. I would certainly recommend this oven to anyone. I have owned a number of Krup appliances over the years and I have always been impressed with their quality.
