I brew in my home from a french press, automatic drip and espresso maker. This new Capresso grinder is very attrractive on my counter. It grinds very quietly and quickly. Each separate grind is delivered to a very uniform size so there is no dust to clog up the filters. Cleaning is quick and easy.
I love it. Great machine!

After recently delving into roasting my own coffee I quickly realised the inadequacy of my old blade coffee grinder. I looked at other reviews and came up with this Capresso which, after a month of use, has been marvelous. The main complaint I'd read with other burr grinders in its price range was static electricity spewing coffee everywhere. No problem with the Capresso. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and gives me a great grind. For the money, and perhaps even for substantially more money, there's nothing here not to like.

Easy to use. Have found I can use a slightly finer setting than recommended and use less coffee beans and still get great flavor and bold taste.
The grind is consistent.
The only complaint is that the grind container tends to shimmy out of its slot a bit while the grinder is grinding due to vibration. But it's not a too big of a problem since it does not come out so far that the grinds spill all over the place. This grinder is compact, quiet and produces very consistent grinds. Good for home use. I brew a 10-cup pot almost every day.

3 of 4 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »We are very pleased with the grinder. It is simple to use, relatively easy to clean, the price is reasonable, and quieter than expected. Our disappointment was that it does not match the cooking.com description which calls it a "Stainless Infinity Conical Burr Grinder." Actually, the box says the color is "burnished silver," which means a dull silver plastic. We had hoped to match our Capresso coffee maker, but the are very different finishes.
3 of 3 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »The unit grinds coffee perfectly, but it is super messy due to static electricity build up. The coffee literally flies out when you open the coffee drawer. Not only do you waste coffee, but you'll have constant cleanup after grinding.
3 of 4 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »This is a good coffee grinder the only problem with it is that when you grind coffee the container that the grinds go into does not have any kind of catch and does not stay in the slot due to the vibration of the grinder. It slides out and the grinds get all over the front of the grinder due to the static when grinding. You need to stand there and hold the cup in until it finishes grinding.
3 of 3 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »Outstanding! Don't waste your money on the "inexpensive" burr style grinders. The conical design of this machine prevents static build up and gives 1 1/2 cups of uniformly ground coffee in 10 seconds. No kidding!
3 of 3 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »The grinder is nice, but the mess created by the static is really awful, and takes a long time to clean up. The opening is too small to hold the filter directly under it (which would help avoid the static), and it doesn't have a tube that directs the feed of the grounds so they just fly around. I'd like to return it, but can't seem to find one without this static problem. I really can't understand how manufacturers design things so poorly. It's not like this is the first coffee grinder ever built!
3 of 3 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »I've been buying on line for years, and generally you get value for your money. I sent back a Cuisinart burr grinder and selected the Capresso, which costs $30 more. The Capresso is much more uniform in grind, and is much less messy--no coffee dust spewing forth when you take the collection cup out of the machine. But it still doesn't produce a coarse grind on the coarsest setting. It's coarser than the Cuisinart, and it's coarser than my friends' blade grinders, but the grains are about half the diameter of the coarse grind of the machine at the supermarket. I'll stick with it and adapt my coffee-making, but I know a simple machine can make coarse-ground coffee. I just can't find the make that did it back when my dad was grinding coffee (yes, it was electric, Virginia, and also noisy, but the coffee was ground to perfection.)

It's too soon to tell, but hopesully it will continue to keep working well. Plus it looks good on the counter top.
3 of 3 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »Quieter than the product it replaced (an earlier version by the same company), this grinder also seems to run cooler and makes less of a mess when removing the bin after grinding. My only gripe is that you can not fix the amount of coffee you grind reliably because the selector is continuously variable. The product seems well made but probably not sturdy enough for other than personal use.
3 of 3 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »The infinity grinder is better than other more economical grinders. I don't regret the purchase. I think it's a good value and an enormous improvement over the melitta burr grinder that I used before it. However, now that I've learned more about coffee, I would invest in a better (more expensive) if I were to purchase a grinder now.
3 of 8 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »I really like the fact that it's MUCH quieter than our old blade grinder, but I bought it because burr grinders are advertised as providing an even grind, and while the amount of sediment in our espresso has been dramatically reduced, the sediment in our french press and drip brewers seem unaffected. I am still experimenting with the 16 grind settings, but I don't expect to see much improvement. If I knew then what I know now, considering a blade grinder costs $100 less, I'd stick with the blade grinder.

So far he has been very happy with this grinder. It works well, the grind is consistent, it isn't messy like the big Kitchenaid burr grinder.
2 of 3 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »I bought this product for my husband. We have a drip coffee grinder, an expresso coffee maker and a "push down" coffee maker. He is delighted with the performance of the Infinity! For the first time no guess work and perfectly ground coffee every time. Our family and friends are impressed!
2 of 2 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »This is the second burr grinder I have purchased and it is by far the best I have owned. The first was a Cuisinart which did a good job but was very loud and very messy with a lot of static build up in the ground coffee. This unit is very quiet and little or no static is created. The grind is very consistent. It takes very little cleaning to maintain the unit with the medium roast beans I use. I have owned the unit for six weeks, use it every day and have not had any problems. I don't see how a more expensive unit could give any better results.
The service from Cooking.com was fantastic. I placed my order even though they said it was out of stock and my take two weeks to ship. I received the order three days after placing the order. I will definitely will purchase from them again.
