Yes | No Report Violation »Hyave had a ton of pepper grinders over the years- got his one 5 years ago and loved it so when I dropped it and broke it I immediately ordered a new one. Stylish, easy to fill, easy to adjust the grinder to get the size you want.

I have been using the pepper mill for the past couple of weeks and I am impressed. The grind is adjustable and it puts out a lot of pepper per turn. I haven't had an issue with the fill door coming open during grinding process, just keep your hand on the top grinding knob. Turn the grind knob in one direction only, not back and forth. Filling the unit can be a little bit of a pain but it holds a large quantity of pepper and it eliminates the process of readjusting the grind size after filling as with most other grinders. Would highly recommend this grinder for you home cooks that love freshly ground pepper!

I have wanted one since reading Gear for Your Kitchen by Alton Brown, and boy does it live up to the hype. This thing is consistent, doesn't hang up on peppercorns, easy to load and clean, and throws out so much pepper it feels like it continues after you stop turning it. It can still squeek out a small amount, though, if that's what you need. Very glad I got it.

The only negative reviews I read when researching this originally was that the refill hole could somehow open as you're grinding. Having received and used it, I can't even understand how that's possible. I can't find fault with anything about this peppermill. I bought one for myself and a friend, and we both love it. The whole product is sturdy, the grinders are made of metal, not plastic. And the ability to change coarseness comes in handy. At $50 retail, it's hard to stomach paying that much for a pepper grinder...but you certainly can't buy a pepper grinder, regardless of price.

It's so much better than that canned stuff at the grocery store and there are so many different delicious varieties. I have received as gifts or bought several different pepper mills over the years. They were all pretty much the same. They didn't hold very much and were slow at releasing the ground pepper. I figured that all pepper mills were pretty much the same. Was I ever wrong. I had read about the Unicorn pepper mills and when I stumbled across them at Steamy Kitchens, I decided to give one a try. I buy peppercorns in BIG bottles. With my other grinders it would take 10 or 12 refillings to empty the container. This Unicorn magnum took a full third of the bottle to fill it. Then, when I started grinding pepper, it just came streaming out. I was amazed. What would normally have taken a minute or 2 to produce was done in a matter of seconds. Everybody should get one of these.

1 of 1 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »I have purchased MANY pepper mills trying to find one that does what a pepper mill should do. This is the first(and last I hope!) that grinds the pepper just as I wish. So far it is working like a charm. Could not be happier!

0 of 0 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »It's not often that products live up to their own hype...but this one does. The pepper grinder creates a lot of ground pepper with minimum effort. The grind selector works great. Thanks to the many other reviewers who made me feel comfortable in choosing this product
1 of 1 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »Mechanically and operationally, the best pepper mill I've owned. The ground pepper comes out fast with a minimum of effort. The only improvement would be one made of wood.
1 of 1 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »This was a major upgrade for me. It seemed like all of the previous mills I had were inconsistent in grind size and took too many turns to get any pepper out at all. My only drawback is the surface is very slick on the outside of the mill. If your hands are damp, it can be a little difficult to turn. However, that is a VERY minor concern.
1 of 1 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »I have owned a lot of pepper mills over the years, and this is the best. I produces the most ground pepper, per turn, than any other mill I have used. Easy and effective, and strong enough to last a lifetime.
1 of 1 users found this helpful. Was it helpful to you? Yes | No Report Violation »The Magnum Plus does not grind pepper. It's true. It rains pepper. There was a time when I actually remember the act of grinding pepper because it consisted of more than 3 minutes of my day. Since purchasing the Unicorn Magnum Plus this daily wrist workout has become non-existent. Now I'm free to discover far more rewarding 2 minute and 55 second hobbies - like alphabetizing the contents of the crisper drawer or rearranging the fruit bowl so only the unbruised fruit is exposed.
But seriously, the Unicorn Magnum Plus is far and away the best and most efficient grinder I have owned - and I have owned more than a few.... And the mildly salacious packaging is just the cherry on top!
Purchased this as a birthday gift for my daughter, and she loved it.
