Let your inner baker shine with this 2-lb. Home Bakery Supreme Breadmaker by Zojirushi. A sturdy horizontal loaf pan and two separate paddles make the Zojirushi a favorite among our customers. Enjoy a variety of baking and dough-making options with its selection of cycles, or follow your own recipe with the custom baking cycle. Use the built-in timer so that you can wake up in the morning to the aroma of freshly baked bread. In addition to an audible alert to let you know when the cycle is complete, it also emits a tone to let you know when to add last-minute ingredients, such as chocolate chips or fresh herbs. Use the Zojirushi to make dough for artisan breads, pizzas or rolls, and then finish off the baked goods in the oven. It even makes jam: Toss in some fresh fruit, pectin and sugar, and you'll have a batch of jam to spread on your bread in a little over an hour. The Zojirushi bread machine is simple to use and comes with a comprehensive set of instructions with plenty of recipes, so you'll be turning out professional-looking loaves in no time. It almost begs you to think outside the (bread) box.

  • MOST HELPFUL REVIEWS

  • This item was rated the best by all consumer reviews and magazines and I would agree. It's the first bread machine we have owned. It's extremely easy to operate and the fresh bread is absolutely terrific. We have used the timer function once so the bread would be warm when we woke up the next morning. The size of the loaf is shaped a lot like bread you buy at the store except it's a little taller than most store bought breads. This product is defintely worth the extra cost to purchase.

  • I was nervous at first because of all the choices, but after seeing the video and reading the manual, I tried it. It works terrific and the bread comes out perfect. It is much quieter than the previous machine. I LOVE IT!

  • This is easy to use. Just measure and go. The texture of the bread is really nice and toasts up beautifully. The only bad thing is that the recipes that come with the machine have no taste.

  • I considered the less expensive models available, but there always seemed to
be complaints about the different models not lasting, not mixing the ingredients
    correctly, noise, etc.

This unit is more expensive, but it makes an excellent loaf of bread everytime,
it is quiet, and I believe it will last a long time.

  • I love the 2 beaters in this bread machine. They also stayed in the machine and I didn't have to pry them from the finished loaves and the baking pan is very easy to wash. Makes a nice big, long loaf that is easy to cut and store. I don't think the recipes in the book are as good as my

  • I have been using bread machines for many years and decided this time to buy what I thought was the top of the line. It is ok but really not any better than the Breadman machines I have had in the past and not worth twice the price. The breads often come out uneven on the top and with the two large holes on the bottom, not the most eye appealing. Although I have my own recipes from previous machines, I have been using their recipes but one would expect more and better recipes in their pamphlet.

  • This is my second bread machine and I really like it. The horizontal loaves and two smaller kneading paddles make for much more consistant slices without gaping holes. It makes very good loaves with excellent texture. Even the recipe for a basic white bread that is printed on a plaque attached to the side of the baker is good. Locking the pan into this machine and cleaning the pan is easier than the other machine I replaced.

Some odd things about this machine that I've observed is that it has no 'Off

  • We originally had a Hitachi Bread Maker that lasted for 15 years of use. Since we needed to replace the Hitachi, we were dissatisfied with what was available in breadmakers. We tried various "off the shelf" products.
However, after seeing the Zojirushi and reading the various reviews from users of the Zojirushi, we had hopes this would meet our expectations. Thus far, we are very satisfied with the breadmaker and the product the Zojirushi makes. I would be willing to recommend this breadmaker to any cook who wishes to have good fresh homemade breads for the family.

  • The paddles stick inside the bread, and tear the bread when you take it out of the pan. I have an old machine by Zojirushi that has a release button that works great, so the paddle does not stick, why could'nt they have put one in the newer model? That is my main complaint. I always use the dough setting, let the bread rise once more in a standard bread pan and bake in the oven. It turns out great that way.

  • I've made several loaves of bread & dough recipes that have not turned out. I've had Breadman Plus for the past 10 yrs. & used the same recipes (from various books, not Breadman) & could hardly mess them up. With this Zojirushi, I've even tried the "homemade" cycle to get it to mimic the Breadman's cycle with no luck. They were somewhat better, but did not end up good loaves. I'm not sure of the real problem, but have an idea the Zojirushi doesn't initially mix as well or as thoroughly and only has one true kneading.
If I use the preset cycles, every loaf I've made has burned and even the doughs have dried out. I will most likely purchase a new Breadman & try again.

  • One of the little things that turns- poped out a few times- we just pushed it down- but it keeps doing it- we love the machine and we are not sure if this is a defect yet- but we would like to make this note- who do we contact- the place that fixes it is very far away-
Do they have a how to fix it manual

  • I think this product is the best thing to come along since sliced bread itself! I really love it! It's a doll!! I used to love making bread, but I absolutely hated all the tedious time-consuming drudgery and labor involved!

So far, I've made about five loaves of bread with it as well as some Strawberry Jam. You NEVER touch the
dough until the bread is done & baked!

All you do is add your water or milk and all of your ingredients to the baking pan after you've made sure that the kneading blades are in place, place and lock the pan into the unit's oven, set the controls, let the machine do its thing, and in 3 hours you'll come back to enjoy a hot freshly baked loaf of bread!!

It saves you a lot of labor and hard work because it does all of that for you!

You no longer have to be a slave to making dough for bread. Gone are those days of drudgery where it took about 8 hours or so to make bread!! Say goodbye to the old dinosaur way of making bread!!

  • This Zojirushi makes gorgeous, huge loaves of bread. I'm thrilled with our latest purchase from Cooking.com and can't wait to try all the varieties of breads in the cookbook. We've owned other brands of bread machines, but this makes the best bread, by far.

  • This is, hands down, the best bread machine! It came with a video which was helpful and got me up and running immediately. It's surprisingly easy to use, clean up is a breeze with the non-stick coating in the pan. All this and the ability to have a regular type loaf is great. I love the fact that I can choose the type of crust also. Looks great on the counter. Even professionals are recommending the use of a machine these days because you can get such a quality bread and they are right! I threw out my old machine and would definetly recommend this machine.

  • This bread machine makes excellent bread. I've had three bread machines over the past 15 years, and this one is by far the best. The loaves are uniform in size, with great texture and flavor. I've used my recipes I've developed over time with great succes, being careful to stick to the order and proportions suggested in instructions. I'm very, very happy with this bread machine and would highly recommend it. It really is worth the money, and I wish I'd gotten this one first, since it is superior to the others.

  • First loaf was picture perfect...since that time every other loaf is very irregular in content. Some are mixed "pretty well" while others are almost rejected by the birds in our yard. This after making 6 different batches.Double beaters are particularly difficult fit. Instructions say "push down firmly." There does not seem to be a click or anything to let us know otherwise. I press. My wife presses. No sound. No difference. I should have listened to others and bought your other choice which you advertised as the "top model" exactly two weeks AFTER our machine arrived.
If I could return this product...
