the grates on this product are too large and too deep. you wind up with a very flat and crispy sandwich. no impressed at all.

Nice grill, easy to clean but a little awkward since the plates are not removable. It would be nice if there was an on/off switch so I didn't have to unplug it to turn it off

First attempt at using this item for sandwiches was not good experience. Although it did the job the result was not as good as using a standard flat griddle. How it will perform with other items yet to be tried.

Works great. Storing in upright position a good feature. Would be nice if it had an on/off switch instead of having to unplug it every time. Would be even better if it had removable plates for easier cleanup.

This grill is hard to beat for the value. I will not give mine up.

I love this grill. We have used it several times and the sandwiches come out great. It's very fast and very easy to clean.

I love my Panini Grill. It is very sturdy, I love that it has a thermosat so I can control the cooking temperature. It is easy to clean. It also has a lock and a cord wrap so that you can store it stand up or on its side for easy storage. Good value for the price.

Banking on the DeLonghi reputation and the integrity of cooking.com, I purchased four Retro Panini Grills, one for ourselves and three as Xmas gifts for my children and families. I have been more than pleased with my purchases, from the deliveries, to the product and it's performance.

We find that sandwiches made with the panini grill are more tasty and a wonderful change from the everyday. Almost any combination of meats, cheese, toppings, and condiments works well. We prefer to use Italian breads that we slice ourselves, but almost any thick sliced bread will do. In addition, we have done steaks, fish, ground sirloin, etc. on the grill and find it the easiest, quickest way to a great meal !

The DeLonghi grill is easy to use...just plug in, set the heat level and in a couple of minutes, you're cooking ! The size of the grill is plenty roomy for four small steaks or burgers, and like quantities of other foods. And, it's very easy to clean. I simply wipe any excess with a paper towel, then use a wet cloth and it's ready to go again !

My children all agree...it's a marvelous gift, a real time saver and a real helper for making a delicious meal for the family. They are very happy with their DeLonghi Retro Panini grills...and so are we !

DeLonghi Retro Panini Grill

This grill was purchased some time ago. We use it frequently and enjoy experimenting with new ingredients. The grill heats up quickly and because of its floating hinge can accomodate thick sandwiches. It heat the sandwiches through . We love it.

I purchased this grill and have been very happy. It makes yummy paninis plus grills just about everything. I sent one with my twenty year old son to college. He loves it. He actually cooks at home because it it so easy to use and clean. He grills steaks, chops, and his favorite Brats. I highly recommend this grill. Storage is great also. The cord winds under the bottom of the grill and it stores standing up, taking little space in a cupboard.

Love It!!

I keep this grill out on my counter and use it almost daily! Works so much better than others I've tried and does a wonderful job. The only complaint I would have is cleaning it after cooking something like chicken breasts or burgers. The main function is sandwiches and I would definitely recommend this one. 0_0

I have really enjoyed using the grill, not only for sandwhiches, but grilling fresh vegetables that are now in season. It is easy to clean and great cooking tool to have in the kitchen.

The grill is easy to use, easy to clean and is of professional quality. It's attractive, well made and fulfills the manufacturer's promises. Best of all, we've been able to grill meats without added fat or a messy frying pan in addition to sandwiches.

its works real well

This is just an excellent product. We started with panini's and they were perfect, then moved on to marinated mushrooms, steaks and porkchops. Gives perfect grill marks and cooks quickly from both top and bottom. A very sturdy and heavy product. Professional grade. Just awesome!!!
