I love this peeler. I have been cooking for over 35 years and never found a peeler I loved until now. I actually bought this one as a spare in case I loose my blue one in that mysterious kitchen utensil draw :)

I thought this would be a great all-in-one kitchen tool. However, if you are using the brush side, your fingers/thumb can accidentally slip (especially when wet and when you clean vegetables, aren't you using water?) and cut your finger/thumb. This is a bad design Rachel, - a thumb guard should have been part of the design. I still use it - cautiously - but would never recommend this for families where little fingers could get big cuts. Actually, adult fingers get big cuts too!

Wished the peeler worked easier. It doesn't always peel with each swoop, I like it and love the brush combo but doesn't glide like others

I am assuming that this can be used on all types ofo potatoes. I found it did not peel sweet potatoes the way it should. The brush did not do a good job either. All in all it is a terrible kitchen tool.

Have thrown out several "name brand" peelers that are not sharp enough. This one works great and has the veggie brush as part of it, making peeling veggies easy.
