Give yourself an extra hand when chopping vegetables, de-boning chicken, stringing green beans or doing other prep work with this Rachael Ray 4-qt. Garbage Bowl. This large 4-quart bowl keeps mountains of vegetable trimmings, chicken fat, trash, scraps and other icky gunk in one spot on your countertop or other surface as you work, so cleanup is fast and simple. Since it minimizes the number of trips back-and-forth to the trash receptacle or trash compacter during prep, you can concentrate more on prepping and cooking and get more accomplished. Its attractive design adds a touch of cheery fun to your works station, while construction using durable melamine lends sturdiness to its construction, so it will last for years in your busy kitchen. Rubberized material on the bottom of this GB bowl keep it in position on your counter as you work, and a raised lip design around its rim makes it easy to hold onto the bowl, even with wet fingertips. It's dishwasher safe on the top rack, so cleanup is quick and fast.

When I ordered this bowl, I thought it was the size I have seen on the cooking show by Rachel Ray - which is why I ordered it. It is quite a bit smaller, necessitating emptying it a great many more times while preparing the meal - otherwise it overflows onto the counter.
I love this bowl. Although, I received flax from my family, "You can use any bowl for a garbage bowl", however, they love the results of the food, but think I'm crazy for using this as a garbage bowl. It will have many functions, just to keep the natives quiet.

I bought this bowl for my husband. He loves to cook but not clean-up afterward. When asked, he said he would use such a bowl if we had one. He has proven good on his word and I have less clean up after he is done. Thank you
This is the fourth bowl like this one that I have purchased from you. I have one more to get and then I will have all the colors. These are so fun and colorful that I use them to serve up meals and not just for garbage. Love these bowls!
My wife hates these bowls...but then again she doesn't cook. I like the light weight and feel of these bowls and they are big enough for most cooking projects that I do. I like these bowls because it makes things much cleaner around the cooking area. They are multi-purpose but unfortunately made in China.
A few positive things is the non-slip bottom and the nice thin walls of the bowl. They are easy to hold and comfortable.
I enjoy having a "Garbage Bowl". I love having a dedicated bowl I can use specifically for my cooking scraps. I love the color option that matches my kitchen decor. The rubberized bottom makes it functional and the flared sides make it more spacious. It does reduce trips to the trash can and helps you stay on task while cooking. You can obviously use any bowl you have in your kitchen to put your scraps in while cooking and save yourself the money. Nice?...Yes. Necessary?...No.
I've wanted a "Garbage Bowl" for sometime while watching Rachael Ray's cooking shows . . . I bought the red one when they again became available. It's great and looks wonderful sitting in my kitchen with all my red LeCreuset cookware. What a great addition this has made! Highly recommend it!
My best friend said she loves her trash bowl, best gift ever! She used to have a small trash can out next to her while cooking, now she has a beautiful bowl on her counter. Her daughters use it for a chip bowl.
Received my 1st shipment and the bowl was broken even though it was wrapped in bubble wrap and well secured in the box shipped by itself. Called and the customer service team was extremely friendly and helpful - sent me out another bowl w/o issue. It arrived in perfect condition except i am worried for the cost if I bump it that it will break - overall for a trash bowl I could have ordered something cheaper or bought from a in town retailer something cheaper that would hold up better.
At first it seemed silly to me to buy a bowl particularly for garbage--I have lots of bowls. But I decided it would be nice to have that designated bowl--there would be no mistaking what it was for. It's very convenient.
