Step Saving Garbage Bowl

I find the use of the "garbage" bowl to be helpful when I am doing a lot of "meal prep". It saves walking back and forth to throw things in the garbage can.

I bought this bowl for its intended use, a garbage bowl. I had previously been using a plastic bag to hold "garbage" from preparing dinner, which left a terrible mess. Oh, what an improvement!! This bowl is made extremely well, is nice to look at, is sturdy and holds quite a bit. I really like the non-slip bottom. I am sure this bowl will get used for more than just garbage. Wish I had bought this sooner!!

This is a replacement bowl for a previous one that I purchased from Food Network. My original bowl got knocked off the counter and cracked, which was very disappointing. But I loved it so much, I ordered a new one and will try to keep it on the counter.

Gave this bowl to my daughter for Christmas, and she dropped it and it shattered into pieces. She was very upset, as she had been waiting for several months to receive her very own. I have one, which had also cracked, but taped and continued to use, until I ordered a new one for myself when I ordered this one for her. So we are both on our second bowl, as they crack very easily. That is extremely disappointing as far as quality.

Time Saver !

The way my Kitchen lay out is... well not good, the person who designed it must not have been a cook. My trash can has to sit away from where I prep and cook in order for my kitchen to be functional. Before I bought the garbage bowl I would pull my trash can near to peel potatos or crack eggs ect. it would get in the way of cabinet opening ect. Now, sooo much better I use the garbage bowl and just empty it when I'm done :) My friends give me a hard time and say things like you could have just bought a pastic bowl from wal mart and named it garbage bowl it would have been cheaper blah blah I DON'T CARE ! This one is Rachael Ray ;)

Much bigger than I thought it would be but Im actually really glad it is bigger. Really nice bowl.

The bowl is a very useful product with multiple uses not just for it's prime use. My daughter , whom I got it for, commented on how pretty the bright blue was. Which it is. It is a very decorative piece for holding fruit and other things. I also like that the bottom of the bowl has rubber so the bowl won't slide around. Very useful.

I have several of these bowls I use for many purposes. It is great for mixing and serving - adds color to the table. When bringing a 'dish' to a party or barbecue I often give the bowl as a gift - always appreciated. I use one for a water bowl for my dogs, they wash very easily and look nice. And yes, I even use them occasionally as garbage bowls :-) I love these and would recommend them to all.

Garbage Bowl

I was hoping it was a lot bigger. I guess i don't have a good estimate of size. I don't like the fact that you can't microwave in it . I LOVE the non-skid seal on the bottom of the bowl. I did not like the price. For me, justifying the price has to do with the non-skid seal. I wanted the bowl to be a big and heavy countertop bowl. It's light as a feather. So, if you are looking for all the things here, it's a great bowl for you! It sure is pretty.

I love this garbage bowl! I have been waiting to get the blue one ever since I saw Rachael use it on the show. It is of great quality and just the perfect size. A very handy product for the kitchen and I am so happy with this product.

I love everything about this bowl the color, the size, the non-skid bottom, the durability and ease of cleaning, the price was fantastic and the shipping was fast. I never really thought much about using a garbage bowl but it really has improved my efficiency as I am cooking. I am not running to the garbage can every time I turn around. Thank you! Patrice

I bought a green garbage bowl several years ago and really liked it. In fact, I've also used it as mixing bowl a few times. I purchased the "eggplant" garbage bowl as a shower gift for my future daughter-in-law - she loves purple.

Simple idea

Silly to think of how often I run between the counter and trash while preparing food. When I read this item's use I thought well you could use any large bowl, but there is a uniqueness to this one and I love it. Used it the 1st time preparing a beef stew, everything from the vegatable & potato scraps to the cans and wrappers went in this bowl with only one trip to the trash.

Easy clean up...

I really enjoy being able to throw away my mess right where I am working and not walk across my kitchen. I have little ones at my feet and now it is much simplier to keep my work area clean!
