I made my first soup in this dutch oven, and it was wonderful. No burning, kept the soup hot for additional servings, and it could be put in the fridge for storing the leftovers and reheated afterwards. Cleanup was very easy, though, it's heavy, but that's a good thing. It's also an attractive piece of cookware. My husband wanted to use it, so he made a fish chowder, and the dutch oven didn't retain any fishy smell, which I was happy about!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I MADE CHICKEN IN A POT PER THE COOKS COOKING MAGIZANE. MY CHICKEN CAME OUT JUST AS THE RECIPE CLAIMED IT WOULD. PLUS THE LODGE DUTCH OVEN WAS ONE RECOMMEND TO HAVE FOR GOOD RESULTS IN COOKING.

Love this dutch oven. Have been wanting a good dutch oven for a long time. It is heavy so you don't want to store it in a bottom cupboard. Does a wonderful job cooking on top of the stove and then in the oven. Cleanup is easy. Good price!!

I've been using this dutch oven for about a month now and I love it. It browns meats and braises beautifully. It's heavy, but not impossibly so. And it cleans up easily. I haven't done a wine braise yet so I can't speak to the concerns about staining. I've been very happy with this purchase and find it to be a good value compared to the competition.

Was looking at something more expense but was glad I went with this dutch oven. Great size, cleans up easily even when I burned something a little soaking and then stuff came off really nicely. works well on glass surface (just don't pull across lift and move). Cooks very evenly. Very happy with this product.
