Excellent Teaching Guide and Resource
The Blue Book is an excellent guide for the first-time and regular canner. The instructional information is clear, well-written, and precise without being so technical as to be off-putting, either for water bath or pressure canning. There are many recipes included that are surprisingly interesting and that cover many different types of diets. The only down side is that there is not more information about changing recipes or creating original ones. Overall, this is a bible of a book, one that will be used for generations. Thank you, Ball!
