After just a few uses, the KitchenAid Blue Willow 5-qt. Artisan Stand Mixer proves why this famed stand mixer is such a great investment. The KitchenAid Artisan Series Stand Mixer comes with a powerful motor to mix ingredients into your batter and dough with amazing ease. The 5-quart capacity bowl can yield more than four loaves of bread or seven pounds of whipped potatoes. A pouring shield allows you to add ingredients while mixing--it contains those pesky splatters. The Artisan stand mixer incorporates a helpful tilt-head design, and the attachments give you the flexibility to work with various kinds of batters and dough. Use the dough hook to knead a rustic boule, the flat beater for beating whipped potatoes and the wire whip for fluffy whipped cream and meringue.
As a stroke survivor, I'm disabled. I only have the full use of my left side, disabilities including my right hand. The engine red KitchenAide stand mixer is both practical and beautiful. I made muffins in it last night. Changing the beater was easy, and the 5-quart bowl made the mixing a breeze. Clean up was no problem at all. I really enjoy using this machine and would recommend it to everyone.
THIS MIXER IS SO SIMPLE TO USE! IT DOES EVERYTHING A PROFESSIONAL MIXER CAN DO WITHOUT THE PROFESSIONAL PRICE TAG. IT'S A GREAT ADDITION TO MY KITCHEN AND HAS MADE MY TIME IN THE KITCHEN GO A LITTLE SMOOTHER. I CAN'T WAIT TO BUY MORE ATTACHMENTS!
Have always wanted a stand mixer and it truly lived up to my expectations. Easy, to work, easy to add ingredients, easy to mount, dismount, switch blades. Very smooth operation. My only grump is that it is difficult to clean the blades, but a certain amount of that is to be expected.
I have been wanting a Kitchen Aid stand mixer for 10 years. Now that I have this one, I'm not sure what I ever did without it!! I love it!! Super easy to use, easy to clean, one bowl does it all! You just dump things in and turn it on...so awesome! I got this color because it was on sale, and it turned out to be a very beautiful metallic chocolatey brown color...I am so happy with this mixer and I can't wait to start buying the attachments!
I have wanted a Kitchenaid Stand mixer for years and finally bought a used one from a family friend about 6 years ago for $50. It was a model K45 and only had 250 watts of power. It worked great and the color was tolerable but I always dreamed of having a 325 watt machine with a 5 qt bowl.. When I saw the Espresso color I knew I had to have it. It is beautiful and it works wonderfully!! I've made cakes and cookies so far, haven't tried mashed potatoes yet.
The color is awesome and the machine is a dream. I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought a brand new one.
This is our second stand mixer from KitchenAid (first one died on us after 10+ years of service). Love the metallic chrome finish. Have made pizza and cookie dough with this machine, and it makes both of these tasks so easy. This "tool" is something everyone needs in their kitchen.
My wife and I have been using KitchenAid for years. It is an amazing machine. Mixes everything under the sun without missing a beat. it goes from something as simple as beating eggs to mixing my thick homemade cheesecakes. My mother had hers handed down to her and we plan on doing the same.
I've only used the mixer twice and I'm just getting used to it. So far I find it cumbersome and difficult to operate. Overall, I think I prefer my Sunbeam hand mixer. Both times I've used the mixer, it vibrated noticeably and seemed to struggle to mix a batch of chocolate chip cookie dough.
