This book is good for what I wanted it for. The recipes on the TV show looked so good. But to see them in writing and the ingredients used, the complexities of most... this is why Americans go out to eat this stuff! Glad to have the recipes but overall, I have to say that I will not likely use even one. Sad, but true

I saw this book on line and have seen many of his shows where he challenges other restaurants on their great foods. And I like it too ~ I looked through the book when it came and he almost did not get it! I liked that they showed both recipes, and while I might not make some of them I would make many. And my son and daughter-in-law are thrilled. (I'll have to borrow it or buy my own copy (probably the second)).
