I bought this for my daughter, she recently got engaged. It is metal and comes with recipes. The only let down is the "first and forever" isn't on the box. Which I thought was special, overall the purchase is a good value. My daughter loved it.

The only thing I was disappointed in is the decoration on the box itself. I thought the "Bride and Groom" lettering and picture shown in the picture were part of the box itself, but they were only on the wrapper. I bought it as a gift for my daughter and son-in-law to be.
